I'm Haleigh! And I'm so glad you're here.

How It Started

In 2015, I founded my own freelance brand, The Bronze Owl Media, at just 18 years old. Initially, I shot graduation, engagement, and family photos, then moved on to film weddings. I continued to work on my degree at Winthrop University while also building my small business. Over the years, I developed a strong, loyal client basis—many of whom I still collaborate with to this day.

In 2018, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and started working with a digital marketing agency in Charlotte less than a year later. I remained there until November 2019 before moving to the pet care space as the Marketing Coordinator for Skipper Pets.

 

How It's Going

Fast forward a few years later and I have found my way in the professional sports industry. For nearly five years, I was the Director of Marketing and Communication for the American Cornhole League, where I built a grassroots content team, established a consistent, reputable brand identity for the league, and completely transformed the ACL’s online presence. From there, I joined Major League Cricket as their Social + Digital Lead, helping develop yet another new sport in America with unprecedented digital growth.

 

Outside of my full-time job, I freelance in the sports and entertainment industry—primarily photographing concerts and music festivals. My favorite event that I’ve shot so far has been the Moo, Brew, and ‘Que festival in Charlotte, NC.

When I'm Not Working

Outside of work, I spend a lot of time reading horror/thriller novels, binging my comfort shows, researching indie musicians, and working with Charlotte Animal Care & Control to find homes for my foster pups.
